What personal data we collect and why we collect it


When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Ticket Terms and Conditions:

The impact of Coronavirus has been unlike anything our live event industry and the global community have ever experienced. Due to these unprecedented circumstances, we have created the following terms, conditions and policy to support our customers, participants, exhibitors and sponsors.
These terms and conditions will apply to all Pontiac Motorsports Exposition events.

Ticketing / Refunds / Access:

  1. This ticket is proof of purchase of the above event and must be presented at the time of admission.
  2. This ticket is non-transferable and only one ticket is valid per ticket purchased.
  3. Tickets are not to be duplicated for the purpose of falsifying entry.
  4. Refunds are available at the discretion of the Event Organizer (PME). Please choose carefully as there are no refunds.
  5. The Event Organizer reserves the right to refuse entry.
  6. This ticket has been created and managed using the American Speed Festival website and is also subject to the Terms and Conditions of American Speed Festival and Pontiac Motorsports Exposition.
  7. As the Event Organizer hosting this event, (Pontiac Motorsports Exposition) is solely responsible for all issues relating to the sale of tickets. If you have any questions regarding this event, please contact PME on the American Speed Festival Website.
  8. Proof of age or a vaild ID may be requested at any time while on-site at the event.
  9. Latecomers will have access to the event site during posted event hours. There will be no refunds.
  10. Tickets cannot be sold by any means at a price greater than the purchase price of the ticket. Scalped tickets may be cancelled, and the ticket holder denied entry.
  11. If the event is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will not be issued.


  1. Any persons who are noisy, drunk, threatening or unruly will be asked to leave the premises.
  2. Proof of age or a vaild ID may be requested at any time while on-site at the event.
  3. Latecomers will have access to the event site during posted event hours. There will be no refunds.

Photo / Interviews / Film / Video

  1. The event organizer has all rights to film, photo and video production of this event.
  2. By purchasing the event ticket all guests understand that they have released their rights for M1 Concourse to used their images, names and likeness for all uses in film, photo, video production, and for use in social media.
  3. We do encourage social media posting and social sharing of the events.

Personal Data and Privacy:

  1. Any data collected for marketing purposes from this event will be strictly in accordance with the Privacy of Information Act.


  1. The risk of injury to me and my child from the activities involved in these programs is significant, including the potential for permanent disability and death, and while particular rules, equipment, and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious injury does exist.
  2. By purchasing the event ticket, all guests understand and knowingly and freely assume all such risks, even if arising from the negligence of the releases or others and assume full responsibility for me and my child’s participation.
  3. I willingly agree to comply with the program’s stated and customary terms and conditions for participation. If I observe any unusual significant concern in my child’s readiness for participation and/or in the program itself, I will remove my child/ward from the participation and bring such attention of the nearest official immediately.
