The Cars

AN AMAZING ARRAY OF RACE CARS IN 10 CLASSES

The fastest cars of all time. Driven by some of the fastest drivers of all time. From every era of racing – past present and future. The best of the best. All on the same track, vying for the best time at the Speed Ring. It promises to be a spectacle you can’t afford to miss.

It’s the American Speed Festival / M1 Concourse, happening September 30 to October 3, 2021.

ASF will pit up to 10 different classes of cars in action at the Speed Ring, running just seconds apart for two full days.

Imagine 1000-horsepower stuffed inside a lightweight aluminum chassis with wide, flowing bodywork and giant wings just to keep the car from becoming airborne. That was the formula of the Can Am series that attracted the fastest cars and drivers in the world. People like Bruce McLaren, Denny Hulme, Dan Gurney, Jackie Stewart, Peter Revson, Jackie Oliver, George Follmer, Jerry Titus and more.

You’ll get a chance to see and meet the legendary Can Am driver / builder Jim Hall and watch his white-winged Chaparrals fly around the M1 circuit. Hall will be joined by Jackie Oliver who drove the haunting UOP Shadows of Don Nichols to a Can-Am championship in 1974, the unlimited version of the series. You’ll also see the very last Shelby American Cobra ever built in the guise of a yellow King Cobra Can Am car that will be driven by national 'Drivers Talk Radio' host, Rick Titus.

You’ll also see a vast array of today’s contemporary racing machinery, from NASCAR to Indy Cars, from IMSA and Le Mans prototype cars to today’s enduro production classes like the C8.R, Ford GT and Aston Martins.

“The final day of ASF is a Sports Car Exposition like you’ve never seen.” says Car Selection Chair and Creative Director, Rick Schad. “In addition to the Speed Ring cars, some of the finest exotics that live at M1 Concourse will be here on display, which includes La Ferraris, Porsche GT3 Club Sports, McLarens, Nobles, Rossions, the very cream of performance art. And we didn’t forget the classics either, which include Jaguars, Alfa Romeos, Porsches, Corvettes, BMWs, Mercedes and Audis."

“This will be a feast for the senses. So, make plans to be here next October and bring your earplugs. It's going to be amazing.”
